MCA leaders pay final respects to Lee San Choon


PETALING JAYA: Scores of MCA leaders paid their final respects to former party president Tan Sri Lee San Choon at his wake on Saturday (March 4).

Led by MCA president Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong, party members headed to the Xiao En Centre in Cheras after the 74th MCA party anniversary at Wisma MCA.

In a tribute, Dr Wee said Lee had been a gem who was "hard to find."

"The passing of former MCA president Tan Sri Lee San Choon is a great loss to the party and the nation.

"May Lee's family members find comfort and peace during this time of bereavement," he said in a Facebook post on Saturday.

Also paying their respects were Datin Seri Jessica Lim Hai Ean, MCA deputy president Datuk Dr Mah Hang Soon, secretary-general Datuk Chong Sin Woon, vice-presidents Datuk Lim Ban Hong, Datuk Tan Teik Cheng, Datuk Seri Yew Teong Look and other MCA leaders.
