PETALING JAYA: It has been a fortnight since the Menu Rahmah initiative was rolled out nationwide and Malaysians from all walks of life deserve a pat on the back for keeping to its purpose of providing affordable balanced meals to the needy.
The initiative, which sees nearly 15,000 eateries nationwide offering meals – comprising rice, fish or chicken, and vegetables – sold at only RM5, has not received any reports of abuse so far, with food operators saying that it gives them an avenue to give back to fellow Malaysians.
