KEPALA BATAS: Five members of a family were among seven locals arrested by police in a series of raids that resulted in the seizure of RM1.5mil worth of methamphetamine (syabu).

Penang police chief Comm Datuk Mohd Shuhaily Mohd Zain said the operations were conducted by the state Narcotics Crime Investigation Department between Jan 28 and Jan 30.
