Seremban OCPD Asst Comm Nanda Maarof said the couple hired the 40-year-old Indonesian only three months ago and left her at home to attend a relative’s wedding in Sepang on Jan 22.

“When they came home, they could not find the suspect. Upon checking, they found the kitchen door and the back gate open but the suspect was nowhere to be seen,” he said.

ACP Nanda said the couple then discovered that cash and jewellery belonging to their daughter and the employer’s mother-in-law missing.

“The maid also left her belongings including her clothes,” he added.
