School impresses with its 13,000 couplets

Festive feat: Students and teachers from Foon Yew High School displaying the Spring Festival couplets they made for Chinese New Year.

KULAI: Students and teachers from Foon Yew High School here have banded together to create more than 13,000 pieces of Spring Festival couplets for the Chinese New Year celebration.

Their efforts have made it into Malaysia’s Book of Records.
