Covid-19: New cases drop by 14.2% last week, says Health DG


KUALA LUMPUR: The number of new Covid-19 cases in the first epidemiological week (ME 1/2023) from Jan 1 to 7, recorded a drop of 14.2% to 3,231 cases compared with 3,767 cases reported in the previous week.

Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah (pic) said during that period, the number of local cases dropped by 14%, from 3,735 to 3,213 cases.
