GEORGE TOWN: Plans for the short, medium and long term have been drawn up to ensure a water crisis does not recur in Penang, says infrastructure and transport committee chairman Zairil Khir Johari.
He said the plans by the independent review panel formed to study the state water crisis which hit from July 6 to 11 include setting up a Sungai Muda catchment committee with Kedah to protect the Ulu Muda catchment area.
