Covid-19 Watch: 360 new cases bring total to 5,027,457


PETALING JAYA: Malaysia recorded 360 new Covid-19 cases on Monday (Jan 2), says the Health Ministry.

According to the ministry's KKMNow portal, 359 of the new Covid-19 infections in the country were local transmissions, while there was 1 imported case.

This brings the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 5,027,457 cases since the pandemic began.

A total of 1 death was recorded on Monday with no cases of brought in dead, bringing the total to 36,858.
