Paraglider dies after slamming into wall in freak Sabah accident


KOTA KINABALU: A paraglider has died after strong winds suddenly caught his parachute after he landed, which caused him to slam into a concrete wall in Menggatal near here on Friday (Dec 30) afternoon.

The victim, who is a paragliding pilot, had just completed a jump and had disengaged his passenger from the parachute but had not taken his own harness off.
