PETALING JAYA: The floods on Dec 18, 2021, which claimed the lives of several dozen people, are not so easily forgotten.

Local authorities have since rolled out various measures to prevent future inundations, while also taking steps to help victims.

Since the arrival of the northeast monsoon on Nov 7, several parts of the country including the Klang Valley have already been hit by floods.
