KOTA KINABALU: Efforts are underway to amend Sabah's Native Court Enactment to put an end to child marriages.

Former Sabah law and native affairs assistant minister Jannie Lasimbang said the Native Courts in Sabah will have to be prepared to deal with cases related to applications for marriages involving anyone below age 18 once the amendments are approved by the state Cabinet.
