In a statement on Thursday (Dec 8), Petaling Jaya deputy police chief Supt Ku Mashariman Ku Mahmood said the police were notified of the incident on Wednesday (Dec 7) after a clip of the shooting was uploaded onto Instagram and TikTok.

"Based on the information gathered, a police team arrested a 41-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman on Wednesday night. A Glock 19 handgun, one bullet casing, 12 live bullets, a membership card to the Selangor Shooting Association and a handphone were seized during the arrest," he said.
