Extreme high tides forecast until Dec 11


KUALA LUMPUR: Residents in coastal areas are advised to be on alert to the extreme high tide phenomenon that is expected to occur from today until Sunday (Dec 11).

In a post on Facebook, the National Hydrographic Center (PHN) stated that the phenomenon could cause water overflow in land areas which in turn could result in flooding in localities in low coastal areas.
