Wan Rosdy sworn in as Pahang Mentri Besar


PEKAN: State Barisan Nasional chairman Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail has been sworn in as the Pahang Mentri Besar for his second term.

Since none of the three coalitions secured enough seats to form the state government, the Regent of Pahang consented to a government comprising of Barisan and Pakatan Harapan.

In his speech, Tengku Mahkota Tengku Hassanal Ibrahim Alam Shah told the parties to set aside political ideologies and sentiments now that they were the government.

"Place the state's development agenda and the people's welfare as the priority. This is no longer the time to play politics, enough," he said.
