Selangor in discussions to hold simultaneous state polls, says MB


SHAH ALAM: Selangor is in discussions with five other state governments to enable state elections to be held simultaneously next year, says Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari.

He said that unofficial discussions with the state governments of Penang, Negri Sembilan as well as PAS-led states of Kedah, Kelantan and Terengganu for a joint dissolution were ongoing to enable state elections to take place at the same time.
