PETALING JAYA: "Tengok wayang" (watch a movie) was the quip from Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim when asked about his destination when he was leaving his residence at Bandar Sungai Long in Kajang on Wednesday (Nov 23).
The Pakatan chairman was seen leaving his house at 11.22am.
Earlier, his wife Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Azizah, who is PKR adviser also waved to the press before leaving at 11.15am, reported Sinar Harian.
On Nov 22, Anwar and Perikatan Nasional chairman Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin were summoned to Istana Negara at 4.30pm as no single political party or coalition managed to gain a simple majority of 112 seats in Parliament in the 15th General Election.
Pakatan garnered the highest number of seats, with 82, followed by Perikatan (73), Barisan Nasional (30), Gabungan Parti Sarawak (23), Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (six), Warisan (three), Parti Bangsa Malaysia and Parti Kesejahteraan Demokratik Masyarakat one seat each, along with two independents.
