Election in Tioman: EC sets Nomination Day on Nov 24, polling on Dec 7


KUANTAN: Election for the Tioman state seat will be held on Dec 7 following the death of Perikatan Nasional candidate Md Yunus Ramli.

Election Commission chairman Tan Sri Abdul Ghani Salleh said Nomination Day would be on Nov 24 and early voting on Dec 3.

Postal voting applications would be open on Saturday (Nov 19) until Nov 22, he said in a statement.

The election for Tioman had been suspended after Md Yunus died early Saturday (Nov 19).
