IPOH: The police are investigating a report lodged by a foreign worker who claimed his friend’s gold jewellery worth over RM14,000 was stolen after four civil servants raided his "rumah kongsi" in Pantai Remis, says Comm Datuk Mohd Yusri Hassan Basri.
The Perak police chief said the 34-year-old construction labourer from Myanmar said that on Oct 29 at about 10pm, four men had entered his house and started to ransack the place.
