KUALA LUMPUR: PKR is still negotiating with its coalition-mates on three seats - Sungai Siput, Tapah and Sembrong.
PKR deputy president Rafizi Ramli (pic) said the three seats were earlier agreed to be given to PKR.
"But because it was flagged up by Muda and Parti Sosialis Malaysia (PSM) (who flagged up different seats) we are going through the negotiations and it will be finalised in the next one or two days.
"We can't announce first because it depends on the outcome of the negotiations of the electoral pact," he said when met after the PKR candidates announcement on Friday (Oct 28).
It was reported that PSM was requesting for the Sungai Siput parliamentary seat.
Rafizi, who would be contesting in Pandan, said PKR candidates for Sabah would be announced on Oct 31 whereas for Sarawak would be done on Nov 1.
Asked on the reason some of the previous leaders were dropped, Rafizi said the party had gone through all the necessary process in choosing the candidates, adding that the names shortlisted had also been brought up to Anwar.
"It is the party's decision," he said.
Rafizi also ridiculed the hu-ha made by the Alor Gajah PKR chief Datuk Ginie Lim who was unhappy after not being given the division seat.
"Ginie wants to contest in Alor Gajah which has never been a PKR seat, she's really making noise and I think it is very counterproductive.
Asked whether she would be brought up to the discipline board, Rafizi said their focus currently was on the general election.
