Metro Prima community clinic temporarily closed after fire incident

KUALA LUMPUR: The Metro Prima community clinic and Kepong health office inspectorate unit’s Metro Prima branch were temporarily closed following a fire incident and main fuse damage on Friday (Oct 14).

Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya Federal Territories Health Department director Dr Nor'Aishah Abu Bakar, in a statement, said that patients with appointments would be contacted by the clinic personnel in stages to reschedule them at the Jinjang health clinic.

"For the time being, several health personnel have been stationed at the Metro Prima community clinic to respond to any queries, especially from walk-in patients.

"Any questions involving patient treatment may be directed to the Kepong health office at 03-2698 0282," she said.

According to her, the closure was to ensure the safety of patients and health personnel working at the clinic while giving way to inspection and repair works to be carried out. - Bernama
