DOE issues equipment detention order on Pasir Gudang factory over air pollution

PASIR GUDANG: A metal plating factory in Tanjung Langsat here has been slapped with an equipment operation detention order after it was found to be polluting the air.

The Environment Department (DOE) said it carried out an operation at the factory on Tuesday (Oct 11) involving 10 enforcement officers from its Pasir Gudang branch and state headquarters.
