Covid-19 Watch: 1,241 new cases bring total to 4,856,217


PETALING JAYA: Malaysia recorded 1,241 new Covid-19 cases on Monday (Oct 10), says the Health Ministry.

According to the ministry's KKMNow portal, 1,240 of the new Covid-19 infections in the country were local transmissions, while there was 1 imported case.

This brings the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 4,856,217 cases since the pandemic began.

A total of 3 deaths were recorded on Monday with no cases of brought in dead, bringing the total to 36,403.
