PETALING JAYA: Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz has unveiled Budget 2023 amounting to RM372.3bil in Parliament on Friday (Oct 7).
Zafrul, who was attired in a turqoise-coloured Baju Melayu, started tabling the budget with the theme "Strengthening Recovery, Facilitating Reforms Towards Sustainable Socio-Economic Resilience of Keluarga Malaysia", at about 4pm in the Dewan Rakyat.
Budget 2023 is expected to continue the country's ongoing recovery momentum in addition to placing emphasis on structural reforms and strengthening economic resilience.
Budget 2022 had a RM385.3il allocation, revised upwards from an initial RM332.1bil.
