Budget 2023: Govt allocates RM305mil for youths to start businesses


PETALING JAYA: The government has allocated RM305mil for youths to apply loans under BSN and Majlis Amanah Rakyat (Mara) to start businesses, says the Finance Minister.

“One can apply up to RM50,000 and it will benefit more than 10,000 youths.

“The government will bear cost for B40 youths to obtain taxi, bus, e-hailing licences under the MyPSV programme.

“Mobilepreneur is to be continued, with the government allocating RM10mil,” Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz said during the tabling of Budget 2023 in Dewan Rakyat on Friday (Oct 7).
