Budget 2023: Malaysian Family Aid increased for large families


PETALING JAYA: A total 450,000 households will receive monthly aid from the Social Welfare Department, totalling RM2.5bil, says Finance Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz.

Malaysian Family Aid will be increased to RM2,500 for families with five children and above; RM1,000 to RM2,000 for families with four children and below.

Seniors and singles will receive between RM350 and RM600.

A total of RM55bil has been allocated for subsidies, assistance and incentives to reduce the cost of living of the people.
