Man goes missing after texting roommate


KOTA KINABALU: A 27-year-old man has gone missing here following a text message to his roommate on Tuesday (Sept 20).

Sabah Fire and Rescue Department assistant director of operations Misran Bisara said they received a call about the matter at a condominium at 8.43am.

“When our personnel arrived, we saw that the person was not around. All that was left was a note,” he said in a statement.

He said seeing that the person was not there, the case was then handed over to the police for further action.

Kota Kinabalu OCPD Asst Comm Zaidi Abdullah said they were checking on this case.
