PM: Queen Elizabeth's demise an irreparable loss to the world


PETALING JAYA: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob, on behalf of Malaysia, has expressed his sincere and deepest condolences to the Royal Family, government and the people of the United Kingdom on the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

In a Tweet on Friday (Sept 9), he said her demise is an irreparable loss to the Commonwealth and the world.

On Facebook, Ismail Sabri said Her Majesty was the longest-serving ruler in modern history and was known for her dedicated nature in looking after the welfare of her people.

"Her service in maintaining the good relationship of the United Kingdom and countries around the world, including Malaysia, is always remembered and appreciated.

"I hope the Royal Family and the people continue to be strong in facing this challenge," he wrote.
