DESPITE their age, two elderly men enthusiastically participated in the village-level National Day parade and waved the Jalur Gemilang as a sign of patriotism, Harian Metro reported.

Drenched in sweat, Md Din Baba, 75, and Hamid Hassan, 67, joined some 150 residents of Kampung Solok Air Budi, Durian Daun, Melaka, in the parade that ran over 2km around the village.
