KUALA LUMPUR: Former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak is doing well after spending two nights in jail so far, says his wife.
Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor was present at the Kuala Lumpur court complex to lend support to Najib in his 1MDB trial on Thursday (Aug 25).
"Datuk Seri is good, Alhamdullilah," she said while making her way to her car before leaving the court complex at 3.39pm.
Rosmah also thanked those who had continued to show support to her husband.
"Thank you so much for your support," she said.
Najib is back in the courtroom for his RM2.28bil 1MDB trial.
On Tuesday (Aug 23), Najib was sent to Kajang Prison after the Federal Court upheld the High Court's conviction and sentence in the SRC International Sdn Bhd case.

On July 28, 2020, the Kuala Lumpur High Court sentenced Najib to 12 years in jail and a total fine of RM210mil after finding him guilty of seven charges of criminal breach of trust, money laundering and abuse of position in the RM42mil case.
The Court of Appeal upheld the conviction and sentence in December, after which Najib sought to overturn the verdict at the apex court.
