Dr Wee joins ministers to bid farewell to King

PETALING JAYA: Transport Minister Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong joined the farewell ceremony for Yang diPertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'yatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah and Raja Permaisuri Agong Tunku Hajah Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah as the royal couple was about to fly off to Turkiye for seven days.

"I was there with ministers and the nation's leaders to bid farewell to Yang diPertuan Agong and Raja Permaisuri Agong who are beginning their state visit today," said Dr Wee on his Facebook on Monday (Aug 15).

"I and the people of Malaysia wish Tuanku a safe journey to Turkiye and back," added Dr Wee.
