Services disrupted due to power outage, says RapidKL


PUTRAJAYA: RapidKL has advised passengers to seek alternative transportation following power outages in the Klang Valley.

The company said in a post on its Facebook page that its services were affected by the power disruptions.

“It has affected rail services, particularly the Ampang/Sri Petaling LRT route. Passengers are advised to be patient and follow directives issued. We also recommend passengers to use alternative transportation,” it said.

Areas throughout the Klang Valley are reportedly experiencing power outages on Wednesday (July 27), with confirmed blackouts in Bangsar, Cheras, Shah Alam and beyond.

Malaysians have taken to Twitter to complain about the electricity cut, with some mentioning places in Negri Sembilan and Perak as experiencing the same.
