No payments issued over MySejahtera app yet, says Khairy

PETALING JAYA: No payment has been issued for the MySejahtera application just yet, says Khairy Jamaluddin.

The Health Minister told the media on Tuesday (June 21) that his ministry has only received approval from the Attorney General’s Chamber to initiate price negotiations.

“The result of the negotiations will be presented to the Finance Ministry and then to the Cabinet to be finalised,” Khairy said.

He was speaking to the media after launching the Health Ministry Hospital Directors Conference at Eastin Hotel, Petaling Jaya in Selangor.

The MySejahtera app was developed through a "software for service" concept by KPISOFT (M) Sdn Bhd under a corporate social responsibility agreement with the government on March 31, 2020.

MySejahtera was developed to manage the Covid-19 pandemic when it first emerged in early 2020.

The CSR agreement with the government ended on April 1 last year.
