MELAKA: Chicken prices are expected to rise above RM10 per kg after the maximum price scheme ends on June 30, says the Federation of Livestock Farmers’ Associations of Malaysia (FLFAM).

FLFAM’s advisor Datuk Jeffrey Ng Choon Ngee said chicken breeders have to bear higher operational costs, which would push chicken supplied by farms to RM7 per kg from July 1.
