Ain Husniza tops Malaysian Twitterverse with SPM results

PETALING JAYA: Ain Husniza Saiful Nizam (pic) has set the twitterverse on fire again with the hashtag #CongratulationsAin.

The 18-year-old scored 4A+, 3As and a B for her SPM 2021, inspiring the hashtag.

While posting her results slip on her Twitter account, Ain shared some direct messages from an unknown person who belittled her saying she should “focus on your SPM la sis. Do you want straight Fs?”

Her tweet received over 5,100 retweets, 763 quote tweets and over 15,200 likes within the first three hours and it has topped Malaysian trends on Twitter.

Ain made headlines last year after she exposed a male PE teacher in her school for “joking” about rape and implying to male students that it was alright to rape adult women but not minors.

She inspired the #MakeSchoolASaferPlace movement.

Last November, the teacher Khairul Nizam had filed a defamation suit against Ain and her father. He sought RM1mil in damages for the alleged defamatory remarks made by Ain.

In March, Ain and her father filed a counterclaim against the teacher, claiming she suffered from emotional distress and nervous shock as a result of the incident.
