Long weekend sees over 10 million vehicles on major highways


PETALING JAYA: More than 10 million vehicles plied major highways on Friday and Saturday as people took advantage of the long weekend and school holidays.

Federal Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department principal assistant director (enforcement) Supt Dr Bakri Zainal Abidin said some 5.3 million vehicles were recorded on the highways on Friday (June 3).
