Covid-19 Watch: 2,021 new cases bring total to 4,489,503


PETALING JAYA: Malaysia recorded 2,021 new Covid-19 cases on Saturday (May 21), says the Health Ministry.

According to the ministry's CovidNow portal, 2,020 of the new Covid-19 infections in the country were local transmissions, while there was one imported case.

This brings the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 4,489,503 cases since the pandemic began.

A total of 3 deaths were recorded on Saturday with no cases of brought in dead, bringing the total to 35,641.
