KUALA LUMPUR: The police are investigating an accident between a Perodua Bezza and Perodua Aruz that went viral on social media on Jalan Kinabalu.
Kuala Lumpur Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department chief Asst Comm Sarifudin Mohd Salleh said the department detected the one-minute 23-second video on Facebook showing the accident on Friday (May 20).
"Initial investigations revealed that the accident occurred around noon on Friday.
"The driver of the Perodua Aruz has lodged a police report while the driver of the Perodua Bezza has not done so," he said in a statement on Sunday (May 22).
ACP Sarifudin said JSPT is still tracking down the driver of the Perodua Bezza.
"We are investigating the matter under Section 42 of the Road Transport Act 1987 for reckless driving.
"We urge those with information to come forward as soon as possible," he said.
