Smooth-flowing traffic as Klang Valley folk return after holidays

PETALING JAYA: The current traffic flow on roads leading back to Selangor is smooth as people return to the Klang Valley after the Hari Raya break, according to police.

The Selangor police Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department shared on its Facebook page that traffic conditions are relatively smooth in various districts in the state.

As of 12.30pm Sunday (May 8) in Kuala Selangor, traffic was smooth at the Latar Highway and Jalan Klang-Teluk Intan.

However, the department noted that traffic was building up in areas from Teluk Intan heading towards Klang.

It also noted that roads under the Subang Jaya police district are relatively clear.

The department added that four fatal accidents involving one death each were recorded under Ops Selamat on Saturday (May 7).
