Covid-19: More than 1.3 million five to 11-year-olds have received first dose of vaccine


KUALA LUMPUR: A total of 1,323,892 children aged five to 11 years old, or 37.3% of the group in the country, have received the first dose of a two-dose Covid-19 vaccine under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme for Children (PICKids) as of Wednesday (March 30).

The Health Ministry's CovidNow portal also reported that for adolescents aged 12 to 17 years old, a total of 2,851,056 individuals, or 91.6% of the group, have been fully vaccinated, while 2,947,622, or 94.7%, have received at least one dose of the vaccine.
