State assembly not the right forum to discuss MAPS, Perak MB tells DAP rep

IPOH: The state assembly is not the right platform to bring up any issues or allegations involving Perak Corporation Bhd's (Perak Corp) investment in the Movie Animation Park Studios (MAPS) project through its subsidiary PCB Development Sdn Bhd (PCBD), says Saarani Mohamad.

The Mentri Besar, in his winding-up speech at the state assembly on Wednesday (March 30), said he could not understand why Keranji assemblyman Chong Zhemin kept on bringing up the issue at the state assembly when he noted that it does not have the locus standi to hear the matter.
