Kempas rep Ramlee appointed Johor MB's political secretary


JOHOR BARU: Kempas assemblyman Datuk Ramlee Bohani has been appointed as the political secretary of Johor Mentri Besar Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi.

Ramlee was sworn in as the political secretary at the Mentri Besar's office in Bangunan Dato' Jaafar Muhammad, Kota Iskandar, on Sunday (March 27).

"Congratulations to Datuk Ramlee Bohani, who is also Kempas assemblyman.

"All the best in carrying out your task," Onn Hafiz said in a Facebook post Sunday.

During the recent Johor state elections, Ramlee won the Kempas seat with a 3,514 majority in a six-cornered fight against Napsiah Khamis (PKR), Nur Faizal Abdullah (Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia), Nornekman Osman Sapian (Parti Pejuang Tanah Air) and Independent candidates Hambali Munandi, Azwan Abd Rahman and Mohd Suhaimi A. Rahman.

Onn Hafiz, who is also Machap assemblyman, was sworn in as the Mentri Besar on March 15.
