Warisan looking at kingmaker role as its number of reps strengthens in Sabah assembly

KOTA KINABALU: Parti Warisan strengthened its numbers in the state assembly amid growing undercurrents of political realignments within the state's ruling Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS).

Warisan president Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal (pic) accepted the memberships of independent assemblymen Calvin Chong (Elopura) and Justin Wong (Sri Tanjong) on Saturday (March 26) in what could be seen as giving his party a bargaining chip in the event of a fallout between GRS and Sabah Barisan Nasional.
