10 newly-elected Johor assemblymen sworn in on Saturday (March 26)


JOHOR BARU: A total of 10 Johor assemblymen have taken their oaths as state executive councillors in front of Johor Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar.

The appointment ceremony was held at Balai Menghadap at Istana Bukit Serene here on Saturday (March 26) morning.

Also present at the ceremony was Tunku Mahkota Johor Tunku Ismail Ibni Sultan Ibrahim and Tunku Temenggong Johor Tunku Idris Iskandar Al-Haj Ibni Sultan Ibrahim.

The newly sworn in Johor executive council members are Datuk Zahari Sarip (Buloh Kasap), Datuk Mohd Jafni Md Shukor (Bukit Permai), K. Raven Kumar (Tenggaroh), Khairin Nisa Ismail (Serom), Mohd Hairi Mad Shah (Larkin) and Mohd Fared Mohd Khalid (Semerah).

The other members are Ling Tian Soon (Yong Peng), Lee Ting Han (Paloh), Mohamad Fazli Mohamad Salleh (Bukit Pasir) and Norliza Noh (Johor Lama).

Machap assemblyman Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi had taken the oath as the 19th Johor Mentri Besar on March 15.
