Jewellery shop in Chow Kit loses RM5,000 in robbery


KUALA LUMPUR: A robbery at a jewellery store in Chow Kit saw robbers running away with around RM5,000 in stolen goods.

Dang Wangi OCPD Asst Comm Noor Dellhan Yahaya, in a statement on Wednesday (March 23), said that the incident occurred today at around 2.47pm at a shop along Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman.

"Investigations showed that the suspect used a blue motorcycle with the number plate still being identified. At the time of the incident, there were two workers inside and losses had been estimated to be around RM5,000.

"No injuries were reported. The police are still in the process of tracing and identifying the suspect," he said.
