'Dinosaur' remark not aimed at Zahid and I have apologised for it, says Umno Youth delegate

KUALA LUMPUR: An Umno Youth delegate says he would not have been chosen as a candidate in the Melaka election if party president Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi had a vindictive nature.

"One day, I made a Facebook post about 'dinosaurs' in politics. It had nothing to do with the president but I heard he was hurt by what I said," said Dr Muhammad Akmal Saleh, adding that Umno Youth was very vocal against Ahmad Zahid post-GE14.
