Johor polls: MCA's Chan challenges DAP candidate for debate in BM after fluency questioned

JOHOR BARU: MCA's Johor Jaya state seat candidate Chan San San has challenged her DAP opponent to a debate in Bahasa Malaysia.

Chan called out Liow Chai Tung for a debate following state DAP chief Liew Chin Tong’s claim on Tuesday (March 8) that MCA candidates cannot communicate in the national language - Bahasa Malaysia - without a script.
