PETALING JAYA: The Health Ministry urges all Sinovac primary vaccine recipients and senior citizens who have not received their booster shots to do so by March 31.
In a press conference Thursday (Feb 24), Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin said Sinovac primary vaccine recipients aged 18 and above and senior citizens aged 60 years and above who received all types of vaccines should get a booster dose in order to maintain their complete vaccination status.
"The time period previously set at February 28 has now been extended until March 31.
"Beginning April 1, their complete vaccination status will be changed to incomplete if they have not yet received a booster dose," he said.
