JOHOR BARU: Police have arrested two local men who allegedly took lewd photos in cross-dress in front of Laman Mahkota, Istana Bukit Serene near here.
Johor police chief Comm Datuk Kamarul Zaman Mamat said the duo were apprehended on Friday (Feb 18) at Taman Nusa Bestari between 12.30pm and 1.30pm.
He said the suspects, aged 24 and 27, were detained in connection with posts uploaded on the Facebook accounts of "Bryan Wee" and "Deacon Chai".
"The photo of them cross-dressing and posing for a lewd photo was reloaded by the admin of the FB group Persatuan Bangsa Johor on Friday,'' Comm Kamarul said in a statement.
He said the case is being investigated under Section 505(b) of the Penal Code and Section 223 of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998.
Comm Kamarul said both suspects were detained under Section 15 (1) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952 and initial urine tests came back positive for ketamine.
