Faulty electrical fence believed to be cause of elephant entering army camp


IPOH: A faulty electrical fence at the Sri Banding Camp, Gerik, is believed to have been the cause of an elephant seen entering the area, which was captured on videos which have since gone viral on social media on Monday (Feb 14).

Perak Wildlife and National Parks Department (Perhilitan) director Yusoff Shariff, said they received a report on encroachment of the wild animal at about 3pm.
