Almost 170,000 kids received first vaccine


KUALA LUMPUR: A total of 169,710 children aged between five and 11, or 4.8% of the group in the country, have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine as of Sunday.They were given the vaccine under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme for Children (PICKids) which was launched on Feb 3.

They will receive their second dose within an eight-week interval.
